Things I Learned while Training under a Professional German Translator

The first thing that I have learnt is to be totally professional as there is no space for any mistakes in the translated documents. One little mistake can change the meaning of what one wants to express.

Secondly, as most business documents state policies or company principles, the translation has to be such that it duly stresses on the important parts and lastly, as a translator I need to specify it to the clients that phrases or sayings cannot be translated as it is. Sometimes, what we say and what we write differ due to the grammatical differences.
